Rossella Arcucci
Dr Rossella Arcucci is a Research Fellow at Data Science Institute (DSI), Department of Computing, Imperial College London. At DSI, she created the Data Assimilation and Machine Learning (DataLearning) Working Group. She leads and coordinates the activities of the group where she supervises students and early career researchers working on Data Assimilation and Machine Learning Models for real-world applications. She works on both numerical and parallel techniques for accurate and efficient Data Assimilation and Machine Learning models. Efficiency is achieved by virtue of designing models specifically to take full advantage of massively parallel computers. She is co-investigator of some research projects such as “RELIANT: Risk EvaLuatIon fAst iNtelligent Tool for COVID19” which is an UKRI £1,35M project, “INHALE: Health assessment across biological length scales for personal pollution exposure and its mitigation" which is an EPSRC £3M project, "Future Digital Ocean Innovation Centre” which a £3M project.
